ILJ Network Website Privacy Policy
We at Immigration Law & Justice Network value your support and are committed to protecting your privacy. We would like to share with you our privacy policy to answer any questions you may have.
What information do we collect and how do we use it?
When you visit our website, we collect some non-identifying basic information. This includes total number of visitors, pages viewed, and other non-identifying information. We use this general information to improve our website and to make your experience as smooth as possible.
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for your name and email address so we can send you monthly ILJ Network updates and news stories. If you make a tax-deductible gift on our donation page, we ask for your credit card information to process your donation(s) and to verify credit card data through a secure financial partner.
Ability to Opt-out: You can update or cancel your email newsletter subscription at any time by yourself. Just click on the link at the bottom of any of our newsletters and make your changes on the form.
If you would like to update or remove your name from our mailing list, please contact us directly by phone or by email below and indicate how you would like your information restricted.
Do we share your information?
We do not share, rent, or sell email addresses. We never have and we never will.
We may share with third parties our total website statistics regarding numbers of visitors and donations. These statistics do not include any personally identifying information. The information given includes: total number of donors, total amount of donations for specific periods of time, and referring websites. General information of this kind helps us learn how to encourage fundraising relationships.
We use one or more third-party financial partners to process our credit card transactions. They receive the credit card number and other personal information of our donors only to verify credit card numbers and to process credit card transactions in a secure environment.
How can you protect your personal information?
If you wish to remain anonymous, but want to donate and receive a tax-deductible receipt, please contact our office to assist you. We respect your wish for privacy and have a specific method for handling anonymous donations.
You can also send totally anonymous donations simply by mailing a money order to us at the address found below. However, if you do not provide your name and address, we will not be able to send you a tax-deductible receipt.
If you would like to review your personal information and request corrections, please contact us. We welcome your calls!
How do we provide a secure environment for online transactions?
Our online order processing system allows you to make safe donations and purchases. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect your information as it travels to our ordering system.
Our online credit card verification system is handled by a third party, which collects your name, address, email address, phone, and credit card number and expiration date to process your transaction. Their encryption technology offers extremely high security. They also have state-of-the-art firewalls and other security technology in place to ensure the confidentiality of your transactions. We only use reputable third-party partners we can trust.
